Dr. Mazhari is very personable and attentive with her patients. She takes her time to explain the treatment plan for your teeth and, and out of pocket costs she charges are very reasonably priced.
Highly knowledgeable and informative. I’ve used this office for both Invisalign and dental work (cleaning and fillings) and have had a very positive experience.
I don’t often write reviews. But this one is very important. Since approximately 10 years old I began to be very self-conscious of my smile. As I got older, I smiled less, was perceived as unapproachable and ultimately thought to be unfriendly. I avoided pictures desperately. There is nothing I hated more than having my picture taken.
In my 30’s thought Lumineers would be a great option but could not justify the cost. At nearly 40, I had read an article of a woman whose husband had passed away and her biggest regret was all the pictures she avoided being in because she could never get those moments back. It made my think. But what hit the hardest was when my husband had to give a presentation to his students with a quick introduction of himself. It included a picture that was nearly a year old. He told the students it was the most recent picture he had of his family (Me, him and our 2-year-old daughter).

I had an old inlay fall out (it was about 50 years old) and she was able to put on a crown in one sitting. She uses a 3D rendering of the tooth and has the equipment to create it on the spot. Watching her work from the 3D image was fascinating. Also watching her design the crown was an experience. Everything is done in one sitting.. No back and forth to the lab.
Dr. Mazhari knows how to put people at ease - she also goes out of her way to be personable and remembers things about you as a person, in addition to your dental history going back years. Making appointments with her office is also very easy - she even has a texting system to make appts which is super helpful during the work day because I can't always step away from my desk. Very flexible hours for appointments, including evening appointments. She's the best dentist in the DC area!
I never thought about how important a smile is until Dr. Mazhari did her magic to my teeth. People actually say, "Your teeth are beautiful." I had never heard that before! It makes me smile even more. So glad I found Dr. Mazhari.
Dr Mazhari has been awesome. I had not been to the dentist in years (one of those people with a fear of the dentist), but I had 2 broken teeth that had to be addressed. She put me ease from the start and strives to make your visit as painless as possible. The best part, in my opinion, is that she wants to save as much of your natural tooth as possible and she can porcelain onlays and crowns right there in the office. I will go back and I do definitely recommend her.
