Dr. Etessam is a pediatric dental specialist. She grew up in Bethesda, Maryland. After obtaining her Bachelor of Science degree, she pursued her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of North Carolina, one of our nation s premiere dental schools. Upon completion of her studies in North Carolina, Dr. Etessam returned to Maryland and continued her post-graduate studies in the specialty of pediatric dentistry at the Children s National Medical Center of Washington, DC. Dr. Etessam is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and strives to stay abreast of the latest advances in dentistry by regularly attending continuing education courses and seminars. Dr. Etessam is committed to providing excellence in pediatric dentistry and has been voted by her peers as The Top Pediatric Dentist in Mclean by the Northern Virginia Magazine. She was selected by the Consumer Research Council of America as one of America s Top Pediatric Dentists. Dr. Etessam now resides in Northern Virginia with her family. Being a mom herself, she has the compassion, patience, and gentle touch necessary to put children at ease in the dental setting. Her primary goal has always been to provide excellent care and outcomes in a friendly and fun atmosphere. Dr. Etessam is a true Redskins fan. She enjoys watching football, basketball, and hockey games with her family. She loves the study of foreign languages, traveling, and spending time with her friends and family.
