Dr. Neil Wrenn, DMD

About

Dr. Neil Wrenn is a native of Greenwood, SC where he attended Greenwood Christian School. He earned a B.S. in Biology from Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, TN, graduating magna cum laude. While in college in Nashville, he married a Winnsboroan, Allison Dickerson. Dr. Wrenn enrolled in the College of Dental Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina where he earned his D.M.D. in 2008. Dr. and Mrs. Wrenn have three sons: Matthew, Jonah, and Eli. The Wrenn's relocated to Nome, Alaska after dental school where Dr. Wrenn provided public health dentistry to the inhabitants of some of the most remote locations in the United States. Nome is a small gold-rush town of about 4,000 people that is only accessible by plane and serves as the end of the annual Iditarod dog sled race. From Nome, he traveled to smaller Alaska Native villages to provide dental care, oftentimes working out of a school woodshop or other makeshift clinic. The Wrenn's returned to South Carolina in 2010, and Dr. Wrenn began his own practice in Winnsboro in August 2011. Dr. Wrenn enjoys all aspects of restorative dentistry. He is a member of the South Carolina Dental Association and the American Dental Association and attends study clubs to stay current on the latest trends in dentistry. He is a member of Winnsboro Church of the Nazarene where he has served as a member of the church board, a trustee, and leader of the Caravan ministry (a Christian scouting program for children K4-6th grade) and co-teacher of the College/Young Adult Sunday School class with Allison. In his spare time he enjoys travel, photography, and spending time with his growing family.
