Dr. Omar Alwakfi, DMD

Dr Alwakfi was very thorough in explaining what he’s doing. Does not start until he knows you are comfortable and not feeling him work. He was able to fix a 15 year problem that others said was not fixable.

Dr. Alwakfi is a gracious and stoic man. I believe his theory behind dentistry is to simply mitigate the pain and suffering of his clients, as all doctors should. He won’t suggest any work that is unnecessary because it goes against this belief. Although he was stretched thin between several patients, he took the time to answer all of my questions. He made me feel safe and cared for, and listened to while he worked on my teeth. I do not respond to local anesthesia which made his job that much harder. Despite this, he expertly completed a filling and caused me no pain. I trust his hand, he is truly an expert in his field. Thank you again Dr. Alwakfi!

Dr Alwakfi is great - His office Manager/receptionist has no people skills. She is nasty to his patients. I questioned a billing issue and was told that if I didn't like the way she handled it I should find another dentist. It's a shame that he will lose patients because of his receptionist.

Followed him from Albany. I won’t go anywhere else!

This is the only dentist I trust. He said I didn’t need any work done and my prior dentist quoted me thousands to repair my teeth, which I had no complaints.

I have no idea what the bad reviews are about, but you could not find a more caring dentist and staff. I can't help but think some of these reviews are not true.
