About
Dr. Flannery, originally from Hamilton, Ohio, is a 1979 graduate of Hamilton Taft High School. He attended The Ohio State University, completing his undergraduate degree with a BS in Zoology in 1984, and graduated from The Ohio State College of Dentistry in 1989. Immediately following graduation, he served in the United States Navy where he was stationed at Parris Island, South Carolina. He then moved on to a three year assignment in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, where he finished his tour in 1993, as a Lieutenant Commander. To stay abreast of the latest technology and techniques, Dr. Flannery attends numerous hours of continuing education each year. He is a member of the Keely Dental Society, where he served as president in 2001. Dr. Flannery is also a member of the Ohio Dental Association, American Dental Association, Northern Hills Study Club, FOP lodge #38 (former Hamilton Police Officer), Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks Lodge #93, Delta Tau Delta (undergraduate fraternity) and Delta Sigma Delta (professional fraternity). Cincinnati Magazine has listed Dr. Flannery as one of the "TOP DENTISTS" in our region, as chosen by his peers. He received this honor in 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2015 and 2016! Dr. Flannery and his wife Cheri have been happily married for 28 years and have three grown children: Jessica, Ben and Nate. He and his family are members of St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish in West Chester. Dr. Flannery and his wife Cheri are actively involved with many philanthropies such as raising funds for cancer research, specifically Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma, Dental Health Month, Help a Vet, Reach Out Lakota and The Community Foundation of West Chester/Liberty to name just a few. Dr. Flannery loves being with his family and friends, and his hobbies include cancer research, genealogy, genetics, golf, reading, traveling, history and sporting events.
