I needed a Re-do of 15 year old root canal. I can’t imagine the process going more smoothly. The office is new with the latest equipment. I was asked what music I wanted. The numbing process was very gentle. I was given a rubber stopper to help keep my mouth open. That, plus the ‘dam’ made it so that all I had to do is sit there and relax. Note: I don’t think this re-do was an easy one: Dr Stamos had to go through the crown, through metal, through some remaining tooth color debris. Still, the procedure went smoothly.

Dr. Stamos made my root canal one of the easiest dental procedures I have had. When my dentist told me I needed a root canal on a tooth that already had a crown I was dreading it, but Dr. Stamos made me comfortable and patched up the tooth and I didn’t even have to get a new crown.

On Friday 3/20/20 I went to my regular dentist with pain near and above my right canine. After examination he referred me to Dr. Patrick Stamos of Osage Beach, MO for treatment. I called the office but could only leave a message. I explained to the answering machine that I was in pain and needed some assistance. Over the past 40 years whenever I left a message of some urgency, I would always get a call back from my dentist within a few hours. Dr. Stamos did not return the call for 4 days. His office was closed due to corona virus and I should call back in a week. I was to continue with antibiotic and opiods. By Friday 3/27 the situation was worse. I called Dr. Stamo's office and again only got the answering machine. I left another, more urgent message. This time he returned the call in only 3 days. In the mean time I found a more responsive endodontist, who performed the procedure and relieved my pain. I don't fault Stamos for closing the office, but for not caring.
