Dr. Paul Kunch, DDS

This is the worst person in the world. I can’t even call him a dentist because he doesn’t act like one or treat his supposedly patients like one. Words just can’t even begin to explain how terrible he is please don’t go to him Hopefully he won’t be open for long.

I told his assistant I was there to find out if I could find out if I could get implants because I had Pyorrhea. She told that I had to go to Iowa City. I told him that I had some holes in my teeth but he proceeded to clean my 3 remaining teeth anyway. The first one he hit a nerve, I said ouch and moved a little bit but on the second tooth he hit a nerve that hurt so bad that I slid down the chair, he got pissed and said I can't help you, and stopped working this man if a JOKE. He is very rude and very disgusting he has no patience with anyone that go’s to his office. My girlfriend nephew went their and he got very mad and told a 3yearold to shut up. I hope you parents don’t let this dentist work on only. And make a complaint with the dentist license board in that state of Iowa.

The office is clean and tidy. Receptionists and billing personnel always pleasant and helpful. The assistant is always pleasant and helpful and cheerful, a person I'd enjoy having as a friend. Dr. Kunch is funny; we always laugh a lot. He's solved all my issues and I trust his judgment completely. I've never seen him behaving rudely, certainly never angry. I can't imagine the incidents cited in the other reviews happened in just that way; I'd like to know both sides of those incidents.

Worst Dentist/Person on the Earth! Has Anger Management issue! Throws temper tantrums if you cannot do what he wants when he wants. I'm not sure how he has a practice or a license! His staff is nice! I went to him for my kids and myself because no-one else accepted our insurance and we had no choice. I'd rather be in pain then to go to him. He gave my brother & my mother dentures that didn't fit and told them he couldn't do any more for them. Both of them had to pay another dentist to make new.

Very rude to both my mom and I, made rude comments about our teeth and did not communicate with us except for the rude comments (told me that my gums bleeding are all my fault and that I cannot blame him for it).I will definitely not being returning.
