About
Born and raised here in Northern Virginia, Dr. Lam has a strong love for the community. He is a graduate of Langley High School and Virginia Tech University before he completed his dental training at Virginia Commonwealth University (formerly MCV). Dr. Lam graduated with honors and is in continual pursuit of cutting edge techniques. In practice, Dr. Lam recognizes that every patients needs are unique and that a visit to the dentist is not something everyone looks forward to. He caters his treatment accordingly and emphasizes a collaborative yet enjoyable approach in his dental care. Dr. Lam is excited to return home to give back to the community that provided him with so much through the years.In 2020 and 2021, Dr. Lam was nominated and received Americas Best Dentists awards. He was recognized for his unique approach to conservative dentistry and clinical excellence. In his career, he has pursued further training in Biomimetic Dentistry, Dental Implantology, and is a certified Lumineer provider. Dr. Lam is a member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAI), the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), the American Dental Association (ADA), the Virginia Dental Association (VDA), and the Northern Virginia Dental Society (NVDS). He is also an active member of the Tysons and Spears Study Clubs.Apart from dentistry, Dr. Lam has passions for music and fitness. He enjoys playing the piano and drums and was a part of a jazz band. He is also a firm believer in the principles of healthy living from marathon running to body-building to bikram yoga. He is also always on the hunt for new cuisines, enjoys playing sports, while supporting the Washington Wizards and Commanders sports teams.
