Care Philosophy

Dr. Cudjoe graduated from Howard University College of Dentistry in May 2011. He completed his oral surgeon residency at Walter Reed National Medical Center in June 2015 and is currently the Director of the Department of Oral Surgery at Fort Belvoir Community Hospital. Dr. Cudjoe replaced his military colleague, Dr. Cabel MacDonald, delivering quality oral surgery care to our patients a few Saturdays per month. This courtesy allows patients who may need wisdom teeth or orthodontic extractions the ability to have them done without having to visit another office for their care. When not in the office Dr. Cudjoe enjoys volunteering with a number of dental organizations providing pro bono services within the community as well as spending time with his wife and children.

I can't remember when I had such a pleasant experience with a dental surgeon. Dr. Cudjoe is like no other DDS I've ever met. His personality is contagious so, you feel comfortable talking to him. He called me before surgery, explained what I should expect and made me feel at ease about all my hidden fears ( I was a bit anxious, a nervous wreck inside) How did he know???? I never showed fear at all through the whole process. He very clearly explained everything and assured me that all would be fine. After surgery, Dr. Cudjoe called me to make sure I was doing well I appreciated that very much. All was well in fact, I was amazed and really impressed how quick the recovery process was. Dr. Cudjoe professional, Highly skilled in his profession, caring and thoughtful. Very proud to have had the opportunity to meet him. Thank you Dr. Cudjoe

Excellent in his profession and also a caring physician. The surgery took place just a day or two before the COVID shut down. He did not rush but gently worked on my mouth I felt hardly any pain. Experienced minimum discomfort the next day. Called and checked on me after the shut-down to be sure I was doing well.

Superb dental care! My recovery was fast and easy due to his quality of treatment (surgery). Additionally, he was courteous and highly competent in answering my plethora of questions. I would send my family members to receive dental care from him if I could.
