Dr. Meehan is a kind, caring and compassionate oral surgeon. At our first meeting he answered all of my questions and made sure I understood what he was going to do and how he was going to do it. He even took the time to look at an X-ray of a problem area that my personal dentist was going to take care of and he gave me his opinion. I wasn’t rushed and he made sure I understood what the upcoming procedure would entail. The day of my tooth extraction he met with me and again went over any questions I had. He has total empathy for his patients. He only started the procedure when I was ready. He removed the tooth and I didn’t feel any pain or discomfort. Once the tooth was removed he went over any questions I had and answered them. He gave me his phone number to text or call in case there was any problem or concern I had going forward. I did text about brushing and flossing and he immediately responded. I have never met him before or know him personally but I highly recommend Dr. Meehan.

Nice that people like this exist. My son just landed in Chicago for school. However, he was in some real discomfort from something called a "spicule" that can develop after an extraction. Dr. Meehan saw him the same day and fixed the problem. He was also incredibly kind to us in handling the situation.

I was so worried about developing oral cancer. I have had some throat issues for about a year now. I decided to get a second opinion after seeing three other specialists over the past couple of months, so I saw Dr. Meehan. I did see him two years prior for my wisdom teeth extractions, so I was so anxious about this particular appointment at first, but he put me at ease during my visit. He told me that he thought I didn’t necessarily have it, since it doesn’t really occur in people my age, thinking it’s probably just a bit of reflux, and he said there’s this little patch on there to where the tonsils were removed (this was 15 years ago). Overall, I’m really glad it’s not oral cancer, and I’m very happy I got a second opinion. Great experience. Thank you Dr. Meehan!!!

I saw Dr. Meehan last week. He was really nice to me!!! I was a bit nervous, but when he walked into the office, he shook my hand with a smile on his face, even wishing me a happy birthday even though he was a week late, I will be having my 4 wisdom teeth removed this summer, and he will be removing them.
Not only was he nice, but he complimented on my hair color, which made me happy!! I definitely recommend this doctor!!
