About
Dr. Gupta is an International dentist from Gujarat, India. He lives in Durham and recently moved from Green Bay, Wisconsin where he worked as a dentist. He completed his dental program from India in 2011 and worked for over a year before moving to the USA. To better understand the needs of a community along with his desire to help people, he followed his dental degree with a Masters in Public Health from the University of North Texas Health Science Center (UNTHSC), Fort Worth, Texas. Right after finishing his program, he moved to California to study at the University of Southern California (USC), Los Angeles for his dental degree in the advanced standing program. Learning from two different countries helps him to understand culturally different populations and needs. He is professionally associated with the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Some of his Academic accomplishments also include: BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery ) India MPH (Masters in Public Health – Biostatistics) CPH (Certified in Public Health) DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) Dr. Gupta cares about the patient's needs and concerns. One of the most important things he focuses on is to make sure every single patient loves going to a dentist rather than otherwise. He has a particularly appreciable skill in handling the pediatric population and allays their fears with different behavior modification techniques so they do not avoid future dental appointments. He is also passionate about helping a patient to smile comfortably, whilst emphasizing on cosmetic and functional components. He is highly motivated and experienced and provides comprehensive dental care to all patients. In his past time, he likes to read, hike, do photography and CrossFit. He also loves to spend time with his wife and explore places.
