About
Dr. R. Michael Emrich is a native of Worthington, Ohio. During his undergraduate years at The Ohio State University, he was a gymnast and cheerleader. He graduated from The Ohio State College of Dentistry in 1985. Dr. Emrich has been a lifelong resident of central Ohio, has strong ties to the Columbus community and a far-reaching lineage to dentistry. While pursuing his undergraduate and Doctorate degrees at The Ohio State University, he was on the National Championship Cheerleading Squad. He earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 1985 and has shared this professional title along with his father, brother, and sister-in-law. Coming from a family of dentists, Dr. Emrich has a broad depth of experience and knowledge about dentistry outside of his formal education. His favorite aspects of the job are the positive effects treatments have on his patients' lives. Providing his patients with cosmetic procedures, dental sleep apnea appliances, root canal treatment, crowns, implant crowns, whitening, and laser dentistry are his favorites. When he sees his patients' happiness with their results and progress, he feels a great deal of satisfaction and delight. When he's away from his Haid Dental family, Dr. Emrich spends his time boating, completing home projects, and staying active playing volleyball and ice hockey. His boat racing interest has led him to win a title as National Championship in offshore boat racing. He also is an avid Blue Jackets and OSU fan, of course!
