A common approach to orthodontics is extraction and aligning the remaining teeth. Unlike many orthodontists' approach, Dr. Falsafi is conservative regarding extractions. Dr. Rebecca Falsafi is a summa cum laude graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo. She also received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, master's degree in oral sciences and her Proficiency in Orthodontics from University at Buffalo. Dr. Falsafi has been the recipient of many awards and honors, including the national AADR award. Dr. Falsafi has been certified by the American Board of Orthodontics, a distinction held by less than 25% of practicing orthodontists. She is also an assistant clinical professor at the UB orthodontic department and a member of many dental societies, including the American Association of Orthodontics and the Upstate New York Damon Orthodontic Study Club (UNYDOSC). She attends four orthodontic meetings a year to provide her patients with the highest quality of care with the most advanced technologies today.
