As a long time resident of Independence, Dr. Mark enjoys practicing in his hometown. After graduating from UMKC School of Dentistry Dr. Mark married his college sweetheart and raised 5 children here. His experience as a dentist spans 35 years. He has been active in Boy Scouts, Little League Baseball, Youth Soccer, Youth Theater, and a variety of Parent Booster Clubs. He also spearheads a large bicycling team for the MS150 Bike Ride.

My wife and I have been going to Dr. Mark for at least 25 years. He has always been exceptional, and his Receptionist and Dental Hygienists have also been exceptional. He takes the time to do what is necessary to keep our teeth in excellent condition, explains what he is doing or recommending, and works with us as patients in helping us decide what is best, such as repairing crowns or having implants. His work is always perfect. I cannot imagine how one person wrote that they had to have his work redone. They must have mistaken him from someone else.

The last time we saw this dentist was in 2006. Through the years, all of our family members who had their teeth worked on by this dentist, had to have the work re-done, sometimes the teeth could not be saved. Due to his negativity and gruff chair-side manner, we chose not to seek any type of compensation from this dentist. Last week we received a bill for approx $10, the balance left on an acct from 2006. The office mgr wanted to give us a chance to do the right thing and pay it off. Guess what
