Richard A. McKinney, DMD is a general dentist and has been a resident of the Pacific Northwest for 14 years. He earned a bachelor of science degree from Portland State University before earning his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Oregon Health Sciences University. Dr. McKinney then went on to complete a general practice residency at Portsmouth Naval Hospital in Portsmouth, VA. It was during this time that he developed a passion and skill for oral surgery and IV sedation. In addition to his military training and service, Dr. McKinney has completed extensive training in implant dentistry through the American Academy of Implant Dentistry Maxicourse. He also maintains active memberships in numerous professional dental organizations, including the: Academy of GeneralDentistry, American Dental Association, American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, and American Academy of Implant Dentistry. Dr. McKinney greatly values the opportunity to provide his patients with safe, comfortable care in the convenience of their home dental offices. Dr. McKinney is married and has three children. The McKinneys enjoy spending time together with family and friends and creating lasting memories.
