Doctor Nowakowski received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Indiana University School of Dentistry in Bloomington, Indiana. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in zoology and animal biology from Indiana University. In addition to general dentistry, Dr. Nowakowski specializes in Invisalign, esthetic dentistry, same-day crowns, CEREC, and implant restorations. Dr. Nowakowski is an active member of the American Dental Association, the East Central Dental Association, the Indiana Dental Association and, the Commission on Dental Competency Assessments. He also is a Fellow of the American College of Dentists and serves as the president of the Indiana State Board of Dentistry. He also is an examiner for the Commission on Dental Competency Assessments. His distinguished career also includes serving as secretary of the East Central Dental Society from 1991 to 2003 and as chair of the Indiana State Board Rules Committee. He also worked on the staff of Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, Indiana. Born in Wausau, Wisconsin, Dr. Nowakowski relocated to Indiana in 1959. Outside the office, he enjoys spending time with wife and two children. His sporting interests include golf and running. In his spare time, Dr. Nowakowski also enjoys and woodworking and coin collecting.
