About
EDUCATION AND CONTINUING EDUCATION I attended the University of Notre Dame and then Georgetown University School of Dentistry, where I was awarded my Doctorate of Dental Surgery. One of the most exciting aspects of being a general dentist is that the field is constantly evolving. As a result, I am regularly studying to expand my knowledge and skills. My mission is to offer patients the best dentistry available today. My dedication to being a life-long student means patients always have access to current, leading-edge care. I’ve completed the curriculum at the Pankey Institute and am a current alumni member. I’ve also completed many of the Drs. Pete Dawson and Frank Spear courses, along with courses in sleep medicine and TMJ-TMD. I continually seek out research discussions, as well as learning about advances in technology and techniques. I continue to fulfill leadership roles in dental organizations at the local, state, and national levels. I’m also an active church member and serve as a member on the board of trustees for a local private high school. PERSONAL LIFE I’m a Midwestern boy, having grown up in Wichita, KS. My wife Michele and I moved to Frederick in 1989 to become part of an exciting and growing community in which to raise our family. My wife Michele assists in administration of our practice. She also works in the administrative offices of a local high school, and is a long-time jazzercise instructor, too! Our daughter Taylor is studying speech pathology at the University of Kansas. Our son Bailey is studying business at Auburn University. In order to avoid an empty nest, we have three dogs to keep things stirred up. Two are poodles: one is a standard and the other is a small, round, overweight creature. The third dog is a rescue mutt who’s a 90% insane puppy. There’s never a dull moment in our home! When I’m away from work, I enjoy cooking, fishing, watching Notre Dame football, and spending the summer weekends at our lake house in Pennsylvania.
