I have seen Dr. Whittington for over ten years. Hands down the best dentist that I have ever used. He is available, practical and when one needs specialist work done he refers to leading practitioners and doesn’t try to do it himself. I’ve been around the block with him—chipped teeth, crowns, cracked teeth, teeth requiring removal. Always makes the right call and in a pleasing way.

We have been seeing Dr. Whittington for many years. He does a decent job on crowns/ fillings./cleanings. He referred me to an endo for a root canal and to an oral surgeon for an extraction. He is pretty laid back in my opinion and not agressive with treatment. He has never accused me of neglect . I do need 2 implants and plan on getting them next year. He has Never made me feel uncomfortable with my decisions. Best of all, he is very personable. Makes one feel less anxious during treatment.

I have found Dr. Whittington to be anything but an interventionist. To me he seems like an honest mechanic who tells you what you REALLY need done. Of course, this assumes you have a beat-up ole jalopy of a mouth like myself. Dr. Whittington has been around the block a few times and I trust him.

My entire family sees Dr. Whittington. I have found him to be honest & in no way aggressive in treatment.

I read the previous review and my whole family has had the opposite from Dr. Whittington. I asked him to do teeth whitening for which there's a huge markup and he told me that everyone has a different shade of "white" and mine were fine. He's extremely honest as well-letting me know that because of a medication my mom took during pregnancy, my teeth would not be much whiter anyway but that they were fine to begin with. we all trust him immensely.

Dr. Whittington thinks his job is to refer his patients to other doctors/dentists rather than taking care of them himself. He is an interventionist that recommends work that doesn't need to be done. We switched dentists because of a move and suddenly the whole family had 'issues' that weren't there before. He recommends removing wisdom teeth that are fine just because he thinks they might cause a problem 20 years down the road. If you don't follow his advice he accuses you of 'neglect'.
