Dr. Seaman was actually born Illinois and grew up there and in the St Louis area. He moved to the Kansas City area for dental school, when he was accepted to UMKC School of Dentistry, which he graduated from in 1981. He liked the area and decided to stay and open a practice, which he did in June 1981 in Overland Park, Ks. Currently, the practice is located in its 3rd location, in Lenexa, KS. Besides being a great dentist, Dr. Seaman is a family man. He has 6 adult children and 5 grandchildren to keep him busy when he is not in the office. He and his wife host many family gatherings and love spending time with their grandchildren. If that doesn't sound like enough, he has hobbies too. His weekends are filled with organic gardening, baking, track officiating, and woodworking projects.

Dr. Seaman and our hygienists believe that with proper home care and regular dental care, it is possible to keep your natural teeth for life. Unfortunately, not everyone is able to maintain both of these components through out their lives and replacements are necessary. We care for patients of all walks of life and in all types of dental situations. Our treatment approach is based on your input and desires for oral health, appearance of your smile and any other factors important to you; there are always options and we will work with you to determine the plan that fits your needs and desires. We want you to have a healthy mouth and a smile you are proud to show off. We also do our best to provide as many of those options, as possible, in our office. However, there are times when a specialist is necessary and then we will refer you to a specialist which we have worked with and trust, to insure you receive excellent care if you ever do need to one. We also provide patients with excellent friendly service, by maintaining a relaxing "family like" environment so you are comfortable during your visits and our staff will go out of their way to handle all your insurance needs, and make all other areas as convenient as possible for you and your family. Having 2 full time hygienists also enables us to schedule multiple family members on the same day, overlapping or at the same time, so families can make less trips and spend less time in the office. At Seaman Family Dentistry, you will find that we not only provide excellent, quality dental services, but we make every effort to make things easy and convenient for you. We communicate with our patients by phone, email, website chat, and even through text appointment reminders. New Patients can even schedule their first visit to our office online from the home page on our website and we are working on changes that will allow existing patients to make appointments online too.
