I approach treating the TMJ dysfunction from a structure and foundation approach. Diagnosing TMD is the key to effective treatment planning and pain relief from TMJ dysfunction. I use the most accurate methods of diagnosing,CT and MRI to precisely determine the patients condition. More often than not, many TMD diagnoses are determined without the benefit of imaging the joints and are based inaccurately, using unreliable testing modalities such as joint vibration analysis and elecromyographs.
