About

Dr. Katkowski realized he wanted to pursue a career in dentistry while working at the NIH in Bethesda, MD. While at the NIH, he discovered that he wanted to work with his hands and not just sit behind a desk or a lab bench. By opening his own dental practice, he is given the opportunity to provide treatment and care firsthand to the community. He wanted a family practice where he could treat the entire family and build relationships.

Bristol Family Dental is the kind of practice everyone can come to and feel comfortable. Part of the reason this is true is because we are multispecialty, meaning that we have general dentists, a periodontist, and an endodontist on staff. This allows our patients to always work with a specialist whenever they come to see us, assuring they will receive the highest-quality of care every time. Another reason our patients love us is because of our friendly staff. They're always there with a warm smile, and their only goal is to help you have the smoothest, easiest dental experience possible.

I had pain in a tooth for 5 days and went in for an emergency visit. I first had to encounter his very unpleasant and condescending assistant. Next, the doctor comes in loud and boisterous and basically just as dismissive and condescending. Asking me questions that I could not reply to fast enough for him. I was telling him about the symptoms I was experiencing, one of which was swollen glands below my left jaw. Well, at some point during the proceeding he did reach down very carefully and find a swollen gland and then, to my complete surprise, forcefully pushed up on it. It made me gasp, which seemed to give him pleasure as he chuckled and asked...."Hurts?" Enough said. This is a cold place, with multiple corridors and numerous rooms. I will never go here again.
