About
Rufus Creekmore, DDS was born and raised in Suffolk, Virginia. After graduating high school he attended Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia and received his Bachelors of Science (1976) and Master of Science (1978) degrees in biology. Upon graduation he worked as an Environmental Engineer for Ashland Coal from 1979 to 1982. Dr. Creekmore entered West Virginia University School of Dentistry in 1982 and completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in the fall of 1985. In January of 1986, Dr. Creekmore and his family moved to Shady Side, Maryland and established a dental practice in 1987. Initially the practice was known as R. Creekmore, DDS then evolved into Shady Side Dental, LLC, in 2006. Dr. Creekmore and his wife, Tina, live in Edgewater, Maryland. They have four children and seven grandchildren presently.
