They don’t usually take walk in emergencies, but they could see I was in a lot of pain! Just to put my tongue on my tooth was horribly painful! So the receptionist went in the back and asked if they could work me in! Dr Ward told the girls to x-ray my teeth and he would take a look! By doing 3-D x-rays, he found a cracked tooth that you couldn’t see with the naked eye! So he told me to come back at 3:00 that afternoon and he would stay late and do a root canal and a temporary crown! Now how many dentists would go above and beyond to help a patient out in an emergency?? Not many! But Dr Ward is so caring, compassionate, and helpful! I can’t say enough kind words to describe him! His staff is the same; kind, caring, and helpful! They checked with my Insurance to see what was covered and let me know ahead of time what my charges would be! A week before I was to get my permanent crown put on, my temporary one fell off! My permanent one had already come in, so he immediately put it on!

I would highly recommend Dr. Ward! He is very detailed and takes the time to talk to you so that you understand the process. Especially with the technical work like implants. He took time to call us after hours to follow-up and check in on us, and to answer any questions. He is also great with my three kids too! We met Dr. Ward while he was in Kansas City and we drive to Topeka to see him. We couldn't ask for a better, more understanding dentist who can do it all! His staff even followed him!

I had an excellent experience with Dr. Ward and his staff. He took the time to fully explain my x-rays and the condition of my teeth and was extremely thorough. Both he and his hygienist have a great bedside manner and they are very friendly. I will be referring him to my family and friends.

I was transferred to Dr. Ward from the student clinic due to my need for dental implants. He was very thorough during his examination and explaining everything really well! Made the procedures understandable given my lack of dental knowledge. The implant surgery was quick, no pain, and hardly any discomfort afterwards. Recently had my final crowns put on the implants and am really happy with the result! Would recommend Dr. Ward to friends and family!
