About

Dr. Khanna received her DDS from the University at Buffalo in 2018, following which she completed a General Practice Residency from Ellis Hospital, Schenectady, NY. She has also done a Master's in Public Health from SUNY Albany and has worked on projects at the NYSDOH and the World Health Organization. Dr.Khanna holds a specialty training in Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry from India and has done researched on dental materials as part of her dissertation. She enjoys working in various aspects of general dentistry and interacting with her patients. Is a member of the American Dental Association, Forth District Dental Society and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Besides dentistry, she enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, loves to travel and watch holiday movies.

She incorrectly installed a bridge. I told her it didn't feel right when she temporarily affixed it (i.e. large gaps between crowns & gumline, bite now all wrong, etc.), she said the adhesive would fill the gaps and she would grind to fix the bite if there still was one after she did the permanent install. WRONG. The gaps were still there, which resulted in painful sensitivity from food/liquids coming in direct contact with the ground-down teeth underneath each crown, and suddenly only two teeth in my mouth connected - one of the new crowned teeth and the one directly above it. She did some grinding that accomplished absolutely nothing. She knew it, too. Eventually, she just gave up and told me that I would get used to it in a week or two. WRONG AGAIN. I wound up having another dentist literally break the entire bridge out of my mouth (super fun experience) and install a new one which is perfect now. Beware!

Dr Khanna has a gentle hand while performing dental procedures. She is soft spoken, empathetic, and gives great amount of time to counsel post procedures. Highly recommend her!
