Nice receptionist and efficient dental hygienist

After waiting around 2 months for a new patient appointment, Dr. 'Thomas' completely blew me off, and denied treatment. (Not really sure what's going on with the freak show, but he may have been 'running behind' with other patients.) He was hyperactive, and complained of low reimbursement rates. He also wore a 'dentist's uniform' that resembled a leather jacket, or something not unlike 'hitman' outfit. No 'white coat' here; I just dunno, but it was creepy. Maybe it's some groundbreaking 'technology' that keeps germs off of him. I most highly recommend you select a dentist OTHER than 'Doc Thomas.' Sorry. I'd been seeking a long-term provider.

Terrible experience. Went to Capital Dental Associates as a new patient. Exam by dentist consisted of him looking at xrays and barely looking into my mouth. Blamed my diabetes after my discussion about ongoing infection in my mouth. All I'm trying to do is to keep up with my dental exam schedule. Would never recommend this dentist to anyone I cared about.

Dr. Thomas was thorough and kind. His staff is amazing as well! The hygienist was friendly and knowledgeable. The front staff answered all my insurance questions. Happy to have found a great new dentist.

I haven’t been to the dentist in awhile and knew I had some issues. At my first visit I was put at ease and felt very comfortable. I’ve started my treatment plan and have been very happy so far!

The staff was fantastic and Dr Thomas was understanding with my situation. He explained everything in detail and was very patient with my questions. I look forward with the treatment he recommends.

I don’t know what is going on there but I wouldn’t go back. The de woo used to be kind, caring and attentive not she is rude and doesn’t return calls. My husband had a tooth issues and she never returned our call we called her back several times and finally got my husband in to see the dentist and was referred to adirondack orthodontist and never sent the paperwork in. Very disappointed!
