About
Hello! I'm excited to meet you and help you obtain a healthy and beautiful smile. I own a dental practice in Harrisonburg, VA where my husband, also a dentist, and I work side-by-side with a fantastic, caring staff. Our practice is state-of-the-art. We use the most modern dental equipment on the market and only the finest dental materials. But the primary thing we pride ourselves on is compassion and honesty. Every patient that walks in our door we treat like family, plain and simple. I'm a graduate of Temple University School of Dentistry in Philadelphia, PA. Prior to dental school, I attended Binghamton University in upstate New York, where I received my undergraduate degree in biology. While completing my bachelor's degree, I also finished an undergraduate thesis with an emphasis in botany. During my doctoral education, I worked extensively to provide dental services to under-served areas of Philadelphia. I also traveled to Washington D.C. as a select delegate with the American Student Dental Association to lobby for improved access to care for persons with disability and children of low-income families. Following my graduation from dental school, I practiced for several years outside of the Chicago suburbs with Dr. Curtin before relocating to the Harrisonburg area. My passions include pediatric dental care and cosmetic dentistry. I am an active delegate of the American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association, and the Shenandoah Valley Dental Association as well as a member of Academy of General Dentistry. I believe in practicing honesty and empathy while providing high quality pain-free dentistry. In my free time, I love to bake and spend time with my rescue greyhounds, Nelly and Jaws. I also enjoy cycling and hiking in the Shenandoah Valley area.
