Dr. Vines has been in private practice since 1998 until he recently joined Dr. DeVaney. Dr. Vines over the last twenty-one years has served on various committees and councils for both the State Dental Society as well as local Societies. He served on the Board of Trustees for the North Carolina Dental Society for eight years and was the Annual Session Chair in 2015. He has been the President of both the Third District and the Rockingham County Dental Societies. He is a former board member of the University of North Carolina Dental Alumni Association Board of Directors. Before and while in dental school he was active in scientific research and has co-authored over 20 abstracts and papers. He is a member of the American Dental Association, The Academy of General Dentistry and the Federation of Special Care. He has Fellowships in the American Association of Hospital Dentist, the International College of Dentist and the Pierre Fauchard Academy.
