Dr. Ellsworth is excited to be back home in Las Vegas and to join the Desert Dental team. Dr. Ellsworth recently returned back to Las Vegas from McMinnville, Oregon where he owned and operated a private dental practice for the past eight years. Being a fourth generation Las Vegan, it has been great being back with his large extended family and friends. After graduating from Chaparral High School Dr. Ellsworth attended the University of Nevada Las Vegas where he studied life sciences before his acceptance at UNLV School of Dental Medicine. After graduation in 2007 he attended a hospital residency program at Saint Francis Hospital in Hartford Connecticut in 2008. After completion of this residency Dr. Ellsworth spent 3 years working in private practice in Connecticut before purchasing his own practice in Oregon. As an active outdoorsman both Connecticut and Oregon offered a variety of opportunities to explore and find great places to hike, camp, fly fish, snowboarding, or riding dirt bikes with his wife Channa and four children.Dr. Ellsworth is dedicated to building personal and trusting relationships with his patients to best understand each patients' individual needs. Together with his patients he believes in creating an individualized master plan for health that addresses not only your oral health but also your overall health and wellbeing. Dr. Ellsworth has completed advanced training to help solve difficult and complex conditions and causes of dental disease and help patient prevent progression of their dental diseases. To help patients with dental anxiety Dr. Ellsworth has completed advanced training to help fearful patients with sedation options to meet your comfort needs. Dr. Ellsworth's mission is to improve the lives of his patients by providing an environment for them to choose overall health through oral health.
