About
Dr. Shane Phillips joins the Apex team after practicing dentistry in the Salt Lake area for over 15 years. After receiving a Bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University, he went on to earn a Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Texas. Dr. Phillips is a firm believer in the importance of continuing education, and has over the years taken part in a number of certification programs designed to help provide his patients with a broad range of dental treatment options. These programs have also served to keep Dr. Phillips abreast of changing dental technology and techniques, which he in-turn uses to further enhance the patient experience. Some of his certifications include: DOCS Conscious Sedation, CEREC cad cam, and implant training through Nobel Biocase. Dr. Phillips is also a certified member of the Utah Dental Association and the American Dental Association. “I love making a difference in people’s lives when it comes to their overall dental health. When I can produce the quality of dentistry that makes my patients happy it is very gratifying.” -Dr. Phillips Outside of work, Dr. Phillips loves to enjoy the many and varied outdoor offerings of Utah— road-biking, hiking, camping, golfing—preferably while in the company of his family.
