About
Dr. Shawn Marsh is originally from Erie, Pennsylvania where he graduated from Fairview High School. After receiving a B.S. in Biology, Vertebrate Physiology from Penn State University, he continued the next phase of his education and training in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Marsh earned his D.M.D. from Tufts University and subsequently completed a one year post-graduate surgical internship at the Massachusetts General Hospital in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, as well as a four year specialized residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Tufts Medical Center. During his tenure in Boston, Dr. Marsh was recognized by his peers to Boston Magazine's 2017 Top Dentists in the specialty of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He has co-authored publications in the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the Journal of the Massachusetts Dental Society and continues to be active in both local and national surgical organizations, including the American Dental Association. In addition, he has achieved Diplomate status with the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. Dr. Marsh is passionate about donating his time and expertise as a surgeon. He volunteered with the Ruth Paz Foundation, traveling to Honduras for a week-long clinic where he treated both children and adults in the underserved population of San Pedro Sula. As a Board Certified Oral an Maxillofacial Surgeon, Dr. Marsh has extensive training in advanced surgical procedures and it is his goal to provide you with the most comfortable and professional experience possible.
