About

Dr. Esfandiari received her dental degree from Howard University Dental School with Honors. She graduated from the orthodontics specialty residency program at Howard University in 1996. She has been practicing orthodontics exclusively in the state of Maryland ever since. Dr. Esfandiari is a member of the following organizations: American Association of Orthodontics American Dental Association Southern Maryland Dental Society Maryland State Dental Association Fellow of American College of Dentists Maryland State Society of Orthodontics Greater Washington Academy of Women Dentists She has served as membership committee chairperson on the Maryland State Dental Association, Southern Maryland Dental Society, and Maryland State Society of Orthodontics. Dr. Esfandiari also attends many continuing education courses to keep current with the latest concepts and techniques in the field of orthodontics.

A completely unprofessional orthodontist. She told me a device she applied to my teeth had a 5 year warranty. A week later the device broke and when I returned to her office to have it repaired she denied saying there was a warranty and I would have to pay for a second one. Throughout the appointment while I was in the chair she angrily (slightly less than yelling) tells me what a bad patient I was and how dare I reschedule an appointment (with more than 24 hours!).

My daughter has been seeing Dr. Esfandiari for nearly a year now and we highly recommend her. She takes her time thoroughly explaining things and answering questions during the first consult. We did not feel rushed at all. We are also seen in a timely manner for every appointment we've been to. Additionally, her staff is outstanding - very professional and kind. They all really know their stuff and on top of it are always smiling and helpful:-)

I was patient of Dr. Esfandiari and so are my 4 kids. We drive from VA to her office in Rockville. If you want it to be done right the first time, go to Dr. Esfandiari! She's great with kids and adults and varying complexities.
