About
Shiven Gandhi, DMD, FICOI, is a native of Georgia and grew up in Marietta where he attended The Walker School. Dr. Gandhi attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham before returning back to Georgia to complete his dental training. He received his D.M.D. at Augusta University College of Dental Medicine. After graduating, he completed a two year hospital-based General Practice Residency. During the residency Dr. Gandhi became proficient in implant placement and restoration, IV conscious sedation, wisdom teeth extractions, and treating medically complex patients. Dr. Gandhi is also a part-time clinical instructor at the Georgia Regents University College of Dental Medicine. While learning the latest advancements in dentistry and presenting lectures to his colleagues, he assists in teaching residents implant placement and providing comprehensive dental treatment. Dr. Gandhi also assists in teaching the hands-on components of implant courses at GRU, where dentists nationwide participate to integrate implant procedures into their private offices. Dr. Gandhi is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Georgia Dental Association, The Hinman Dental Society, The Academy of General Dentistry, and a fellow in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI). In his free time, he enjoys photography, golfing, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
