About
Dr. Rong graduated from Franklin D. Roosevelt High School with the New York State Presidential Award in Chemistry and then went on to State University of New York (SUNY) at Stony Brook to get her Bachelors of Science in Biochemistry. She graduated Stony Brook undergraduate college Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa, and attended SUNY at Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine. Following dental school, Dr. Rong entered General Practice Residency at Mount Sinai Queens Hospital Center. A career in dentistry demands great perseverance and dedication to both scientific and humanistic knowledge for the sake of patients' well-being. Dr. Rong has acquired these characteristics through her academics, residency and working experiences over the years. She strongly believes that high level of continuous education and training delivers the best quality of dental care to patients. Dr. Rong pursues the most advanced techniques by attending continued education courses, seminars and hands-on lectures such as dental implant CE, Invisalign, Progressive Orthodontic Seminars and Laser training. Dr. Rong is a member of the American Dental Association, New York State Dental Society, New York County Dental Society and Academy of General Dentistry. In her free time, Dr. Rong enjoys spending time with her family, and enjoys painting, especially stippling. She has been a collector of stamps since the age of 6 and now she has collected more than three thousand types of stamps from different countries.
