About
Dr. Stan Pozega grew up in the small coal mining community of Logan, West Virginia. He received his BSBA degree in 1975 from West Virginia University, then moved to Knoxville in 1976 to attend graduate school at the University of Tennessee. After school and working for several years in Knoxville, he decided it was time to pursue his long time interest in dentistry (obtained from his dentist uncle in Charleston, WV), and subsequently attended dental school at UT-Memphis, graduating in 1989. Coming back to Knoxville was an easy decision, choosing first the Gibbs community, then 4 years later moving to our present location in Fountain City in 1994. "We love this area. It's a wonderful place to live, practice, and go to church at Fountain City Presbyterian. I'll be here forever."
