About
Dr. Harris was born in Illinois and grew up in Columbia, Missouri. He received a degree with high distinction in Music Education from Indiana University before earning his Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Louisville. He went on to complete a post-doctorate hospital general practice residency in Connecticut before establishing his practice in the Albany area. Dr. Harris is a longstanding member of the American Dental Association and a member of the Third District Dental Society. He has been active in charitable pursuits, most recently the Mission of Mercy dental clinic. Dr. Harris became dental-phobic as a child because many of his early dental treatments were performed without the use of anesthesia. As a result, he is sincerely empathetic with his patients and is deeply committed to providing compassionate and comfortable dental care. Dr. Harris lives in the Voorheesville, NY area with his wife Dolly and two dogs, Tootsie and Moosie. His interests include the arts, walking his dogs in the woods, travel, and an occasional round of golf.
