About
Dr. Stephen Mastella graduated from Temple University School of Dentistry in 1986 and went into private practice in Philadelphia. He also taught at Temple University. In 1988, he came to Baltimore to join a group practice. In the early 1990's he taught at University of Maryland Dental School. Dr. Mastella took over an existing practice in the Mt. Vernon section of Baltimore in 1992 and has been in the area ever since, moving to an expanded state of the art location in 2006. In 2005, he was awarded a fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry for his dedication to continuing education. 2010 - 2011 Dr. Mastella was elected president of the Baltimore County Dental Association. In 2010, 2011, 2013, and 2014 Dr. Mastella was named Top Dentists as chosen by their peers in Baltimore Magazine. In 2007 Dr. Mastella was voted Best Dentist by City Paper. In 2011 Dr. Mastella was chosen by the readers of City Paper as best dentist, in their best dentist poll. Dr Mastella was named Top Dentist for General Dentistry in Baltimore Magazine's June 2014 issue!
