My consultation appointment was absolutely amazing. The Dr, the staff, the office - all exceptional. Dr Hechler was highly experienced and compassionate, and it was clear that I was going to be in great hands with this group.
He was thorough & kind- He understood my issues with dizziness & didn’t push me to do something I’m not able to tolerate currently . I was very appreciative!

The staff here have consistently gone above and beyond the call of duty. They do things the right way, and it shows in the form of exemplary results. I've been a patient for about 10 years, and they have shown this time and time again.Earlier this week, I had an emergency with my dental flipper the day before leaving town for a long trip. I don't regularly visit the office anymore because I got my braces off long ago, so I didn't know what to expect when I called in about the issue. However, not only were they able to schedule a time for me to come into the office asap, but they worked an actual miracle and fixed it for me in the same day. I could not have been more grateful! These guys are the best of the best. Would absolutely recommend them.
All the staff are friendly & helpful. The office always seems clean & organized. Dr. Hechler is kind and explains everything thoroughly. We have been very happy with the services at this practice.
My daughter just finished her treatment and got her braces off this week. Everyone in the office was outstanding. The ladies at the desk were always friendly and helpful and scheduling was easy. Dr. Hechler was always upfront and kind to us. I highly recommend this place.

Terrible experience. They charge you for diagnostic work that every other ortho in the metro includes as part of their complementary consultation. Their treatment philosophy is not conservative. I consulted 4 orthodontists - heckler was the only one telling me that my kid needs extremely drastic jaw surgery. Other orthodontist were shocked that this was a suggested treatment option. Beware. You’ll pay A LOT more here and may be undergoing a completely unnecessary treatment plan. There are so many other excellent orthodontist in KC. Just go somewhere else.
As an older adult, I needed braces for a second time in my life for health reasons. I went for consultations with 3 orthodontists. Hechler Orthodontics was much more thorough and realistic in their evaluation, so I chose them. I just got my braces off and am extremely pleased with the results!!! During the process everything was thoroughly explained to me and the result is exactly what I expected. The entire experience was good. The office is kept very clean. The staff is knowledgeable, kind, and helpful.
