Dr. Steven Mingos received his doctorate of dental surgery from the University of Missouri Dental School, Kansas City, in 1976. Dr. Mingos was nominated for early graduation for his clinical achievement and for his academic excellence. He obtained his bachelor of science from the University of Kansas. Dr. Mingos is a member of the American Dental Association, the Missouri Dental Association, and the Greater Kansas City Dental Society. In 1996, he was awarded the title of fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and is currently active in the Kansas City Implant Society. Dr. Mingos resides in the Kansas City area with his wife, Maria. They have four children. He is an avid fisherman, attends Royals and Chiefs games when possible, and enjoys spending time with his border collie, Rocky.

We also offer free consultations regardless if you use us for the procedure or not. Providing the best possible care for our patients is our number one objective.

So thankful Dr. Mingos and his team were able to provide me a same day appointment during a cosmetic emergency ;). Staff was very friendly and Dr. Mingos was quick, skilled, and very pleasant. Highly recommend.

My previous dentist had retired. They referred my daughter and I to Dr. Mingos Dentristy. I was lucky to have Lindsey as my hygienist. She did the most amazing job that I have ever experienced in my life! I couldn't stop showing my family how clean and white my teeth were. She was very informative and friendly. I will recommend Dr. Mingos to all my family and friends.

Dr. Steve Mingos has been caring for our family of 10 for over 30 years. His office is friendly and professional. Dr. Mingos or any of his staff are the best in the business...you won't find any better in the city. Their quick and caring response and flexibility in scheduling are great. I would highly recommend them...you won't be disappointed.

My younger brother, who died 2 years ago, had recommended me to come to his dentist, Dr. Mingos, when his kids were little. Now they are 31 and 36. My dentist had retired, so I needed to find a dentist. I met here with Dr Jana Kortje. She was wonderful. She sent me to oral surgeon Dr Steven Gish - he was so good that I did not even feel the shot!! I came back to see RZ yesterday to have my teeth cleaned. BEST cleaning experience I ever had! (I'm age 64). GREAT quaint no-smell office!

I have been going to Dr Mingos since 1980 and have the utmost trust and respect for him as my dentist. It will be done the right way every time and I have had several instances of having to schedule urgent appointments over the years and they do what they can to accommodate your needs. Geographically not as close to my home as I would like, but I would not even consider another dentist.
