He owes me 2000 for a crown and implant I had to get because of his horrible work

Dr. Smiga was good many years ago. He is long past retirement and should have taken that route 8 years ago or so. While he used to be patient and kind, he has gotten grumpy and old. Would not trust his hands in my mouth to do any work. I took my family elsewhere and am better off for it.

Dr. Smiga was a good dentist but he isn't now. His hands shake so bad and he has made several mistakes. Even cutting my lip. Refresh Dental is a big money making place. Great practice when Dr. Smiga was on his own. Even the entire office staff is rude and ignorant. Was a patient for 20 years but no longer. Stay away.

I would have recommended Dr. Smiga prior to Refresh Dental becoming involved with his practice. The quality of patient care/interaction has declined so much that after 20 years of being a patient, my family and I are looking elsewhere. I have tried to rationalize mistakes and inconsistencies that I have noticed over the past year, but it has gotten to the point that they can no longer be overlooked. Such a shame because when it was a private practice, things were so much different :-(

DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST! I had a few bad experiences with this guy in the past, ranging from his incredibly shaky hands, to his attempting to sell me something almost every time I go. However, my most recent visit was so bad that I would never go to his office again.

Dr.Smiga is like my 6th dentist since moving to the area. He has had to fix ALOT of screw ups by others. I like that he is more seasoned B/C He actually KNOWS what he's doing! Hes very honest and kind, and thats hard to find in a Pgh dentist!! My only worry is that he'll retire!! My kids also see him, and he is great w/ them too!!! Don't listen to nay-sayers HE'S a GTEAT DENTIST!!!!

Office staff alarming and not helpful re insurance issue. Said my insurance was HMO and needed to be on their roster. My insurancell is PPO and don't need to be on their roster. Should have been smooth process, but became complicated. Wasn't disappointed....Dr Smiga only has 3.2 rating anyway and is too old for current ideas and treatments. Why is he still working at 69yo? Brings up yellow flag for me! Will never recommend to anyone!

Dr. Smiga may have been a good dentist in his day, bug stay the he) away now. He is terrible. I have been in and ot of office for a problem he created and it only gets worse each time. I am done. I am even considering legal action. Hos hands shake big time while he is working inside your mouth. Fair warning is all i can say.
