About
Dr. Steven Woodard was raised in a small town in Western North Carolina; with Rockbridge County being a second home since 1994 when his grandparents settled here. He graduated with honors from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. While there, he met his wife, Kelli, while in a Marine Biology course. After graduation, they moved to Louisville Kentucky where Dr. Woodard graduated with honors from The University of Louisville School of Dentistry. While in Louisville, their family grew with two children, Albert and MaryRuth.After graduation, the Woodards knew they wanted to move back to a small town and raise their family. They settled into Rockbridge County and have loved every minute since. One of Dr. Woodard's greatest joys is helping people overcome their dental anxiety and making them feel comfortable while at the dental office. This is true of everyone from little children to the elderly. You will often hear singing and laughter while at the office. Dr. Woodard enjoys spending time with his family, being outside, running, hiking, swimming in the rivers with his family, and yard work. Dr. Woodard is a member of the American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association, Shenandoah Valley Dental Association, and Academy of General Dentistry.
