About
Dr. Kashyap completed his undergraduate education at UNC-Chapel Hill with a degree in Chemistry and Economics. After graduating, he dedicated one year with Americorps mentoring and teaching elementary and high school aged children in Washington D.C. This experience fueled his desire to continue to serve in his community and to advance in his profession. The Tarheels brought him back to Chapel Hill for dental school and the Pirates drew him in for a degree in advanced education thereafter. Graduating dental school has only been the beginning of Dr. Kashyap's journey. He has been highly involved in the Rotary Club, coordinating and directing several mission projects in Mexico, Guatemala and the Philippines. He hopes to continue giving back as part of his professional and practice culture. His drive to continue learning has propelled him to dive head first into continuing education where he has gained extensive training in dental implant placement and restoration, comprehensive full mouth rehabilitation, short term orthodontics (Invisalign, Powerprox, and Six Month Smiles), 3D imaging, sleep medicine, and sedation. Dr. Kashyap is excited to have you be part of his dental practice family and hopes to spend individual time with each and every patient to help them achieve their individualized oral and overall health goals.
