About
Hello! My name is Dr. Synthia Chowdhury. After marrying my loving husband, Jahan, I moved to Ohio and have loved living here and being part of this community! I have been tremendously passionate about dentistry since high school, and I feel truly fortunate to have been able to make that my reality. I am honored to be able to transform smiles into peoples strength and confidence. I previously practiced dentistry in Virginia, where I also earned my Doctorate in Dental Surgery in 2019 from Virginia Commonwealth University. It is a passion of mine to give back to my community, and I have loved volunteering for community dental projects such as Mission of Mercy, Special Olympics, and Give Kids A Smile. In order to be able to serve the Columbus community better in the future, I plan to organize a dental volunteering program where our office is able to take care of the underserved population once a year.When I am not doing dentistry, I spend my time with family and friends. I grew up in Dubai and am originally from Bangladesh, so I love traveling home and all over the world! In the past two years, my husband and I have traveled to 20 states. We hope to continue our adventures outside of the US in the future.We look forward to meeting you and building that lasting relationship that will make you a part of our Riverview Dental family!
