About
Dr. Tam M. Trinh grew up in the northwest side of Chicago. He received his doctorate degree from the University of Illinois College of Dentistry (UIC COD). Dr. Trinh completed his specialty training at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC-CH), where he received his Master of Science in Endodontics and Certificate in Endodontics. Prior to this, he completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Illinois at Chicago in the field of Biological Science, graduating cum laude. While at UIC COD, Dr. Trinh was awarded the Jerry F. Balaty Award for excellence in Operative Dentistry and the American Association of Orthodontists Award for excellence in Pre-Doctoral Education of Orthodontic. During his specialty training at UNC-CH, Dr. Trinh completed research investigating the roles of intra-operative factors influencing outcome of treatment success. He has presented his research at national meetings. Recently, he received the Jacob B. Freeland Fellowship. As a member of your treatment team, Dr. Trinh's will keep you involved and informed in all aspects of the dental treatment planning and decision-making process using the latest research to provide biologically based treatments. In his free time, Dr. Trinh enjoys spending time with his wife. He is also an avid basketball fan, and enjoys sports and fitness.
