About
Dr. Tatiana Lucas was born and raised in southern Russia where she earned her Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering with high honors. After becoming an engineer Dr. Lucas lived and worked in England for several years before moving to the United States to reunite with her family and to continue her studies to pursue her dream of becoming a dentist. She completed her studies in Biology at West Virginia State University and Mountain State University before being accepted into West Virginia University School of Dentistry. Dr. Lucas graduated magna cum laude and at the top of her class from West Virginia University School of Dentistry with the degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery, and received multiple awards recognizing her outstanding technical skills, passion for dentistry and excellence. She actively participates in postgraduate training which involves courses in restorative and cosmetic dentistry, such as training provided by L.D. Pankey Institute and The Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Study, both located in Florida. Dr. Lucas is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, of American Dental Association, and of Pennsylvania Dental Association. Dr. Lucas is married and has two wonderful young children Sofia and Leo. Her family loves to spend time outdoors, skiing and camping. While living several years in West Virginia, Dr. Lucas and her family was spending a lot of time in Pennsylvania, she fell in love with Ohiopyle area and was planning for a long time to move into the region so her children can enjoy the beauty and a relaxed atmosphere of the area and its people.
