About
Dr. Turner is a general dentist who practices both restorative and aesthetic dentistry. She believes patient comfort and patient education are essential to providing quality dental care. Dr. Turner completed her bachelor's degree with a B.S. in Biochemistry from University of Virginia and was awarded an Intramural Fellowship award at the National Institute of Health where she was published in bone and cancer studies. She then earned her doctoral degree with magna cum laude from Virginia Commonwealth University's School of Dentistry and completed a General Practice Residency with Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In her spare time, Dr. Turner enjoys painting, drawing, sculpture, and playing the piano. Dentistry has allowed Dr. Turner to combine working with her hands and practicing health sciences in her career. Dr. Turner was born and raised in Maryland and currently resides in Alexandria, Virginia with her husband.
