About
Dr. Tina Khoury focuses on treating patient of all ages with a vast range of general dental needs. One of the things Dr. Khoury excels in and likes most about dentistry is interacting with her patients in a meaningful way as she helps them obtain a beautiful, healthy smile that they both can be proud of. Dr. Tina Khoury was born in Jacksonville, Fla. and raised in Peoria, Ill. Her parents immigrated to the United States from Lebanon, which has influenced much of her life. She attended Peoria Notre Dame High School and continued her higher education at Bradley University. There, she received her undergraduate degree in chemistry with minors in biology and marketing. Dr. Khoury earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in Downers Grove, Ill. She practiced there using the most up-to-date, first-rate technology and research methods. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, Academy of General dentistry and Chicago Dental Society. Dr. Khoury moved to Gurnee, Ill. in the summer of 2015. As fate would have it, she accepted a position with Northwestern Dental Group, while her husband began to pursue his PhD in neuroscience at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. She enjoys spending her free time with her husband in the city and being in Peoria to see her family and friends.
