About
Dr. Tonya Woodall Baker began dreaming of becoming a dentist at the age of 16. After graduating as valedictorian of the class, of 1984 from Calhoun High School she continued to work hard to make those dreams become a reality. Dr. Baker attended Mercer University in Atlanta before being accepted to the dental program at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. It was in her junior year of dental school that she realized her passion was in orthodontics. She earned her Doctorate of Medical Dentistry in 1990, graduating at the top of her class. She continued her studies at MCG and completed her Orthodontic Specialty training in 1992. It was then time to put all that she had learned into action. She couldn't wait to come back to Calhoun to give back to the community that had given her so much. She has been providing excellent orthodontic care while creating smiles, boosting self-confidence and self-esteem in patients of all ages since 1992.
