Dr. Halford's passion for dentistry is evident in the caring, knowledgeable manner with which she treats each patient. She has continued to build upon the practice-oriented foundation gained in dental school by maintaining active memberships in a variety of professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, Kansas Dental Association, Missouri Dental Association, and the Greater Kansas City Dental Association. To satisfy both her philanthropic nature and her passion for continual dental experience, Dr. Halford has devoted her talents to various volunteer dental services, including time spent in Venezuela to provide dental care for those in need, especially children who had no access to a dentist. Dr. Halford also spends time on weekends providing dental screenings for soldiers prior to their deployments ensuring that they're in good oral health before traveling overseas. In her free time, Dr. Halford enjoys traveling, reading, fitness, and spending time with her husband, Tony, her daughter, Elin, and their two energetic boxers, Roxy and Bella.

Disappointed in Overland Park

My daughter was told the cost of a night guard appliance to prevent grinding teeth in her sleep was $650 and that she'd have to pay for it herself. Initially they led her to believe that insurance would pay nothing toward it. However, I also wear a night guard and my insurance does pay something for it. After the molds were completed, the office manager emailed a form to my daughter to sign. It states: "I am taking part in this dental service provided to me by Tricia M. Halford DDS. Due to below standard and reasonable reimbursement by my insurance company, Tricia M. Halford is not able to accept reimbursement by my insurance company. No forms will be produced now or in the future for insurance billing." When we spoke with someone at Corinth we found that the reimbursement amount, so small that Corinth couldn't be bothered to file the forms, is $200. My daughter has to work 13 hours to earn $200. The experience is unbelievable and we are both finding a new Dentist.

Very good at her trade. I was about to go with dentures and she was able to do what numerous other doctors could not manage for 5 years before her. The staff is incredible as well.

Dr. Halford closed a small space between my teeth with cosmetic bonding and I couldn't be happier with the results. It was easy and pleasant. Her staff and office are wonderful. I highly recommend Dr. Halford!
