About
Dr. Valerie Martinsen Seifert grew up in LaPorte, Indiana. She graduated as a Valedictorian from LaPorte High School where she was involved in numerous organizations and sports teams. She went on to Valparaiso University where she played soccer for the Crusaders and graduated cum laude with a Bachelors of Science degree. Dr. Seifert attended Indiana University School of Dentistry and received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2007. While at IUSD, she was an active member of Delta Sigma Delta, an international dental fraternity, and a contributing author to its publication, Desmos. In the fall of 2007, she opened a private dental practice in LaPorte alongside her father and is excited to serve her patients and create an extraordinary practice. Dr. Seifert is a member of the American Dental Association, Indiana Dental Association, Chicago Dental Society, Northwest Indiana Dental Society, and past president of the LaPorte County Dental Society. She currently serves as Secretary on the board of the Northwest Indiana Dental Society and is also a fellow in the Pierre Fauchard Academy. She participated in the Indiana Dental Association's AIR Leadership Program in 2014-2016. Outside of the office, Dr. Seifert is committed to community service and dedicates her time to various organizations including Big Comedy at the Little Theatre and the LaPorte County Family YMCA. In her free time, she can be found cooking in the kitchen or outdoors running, biking, and hiking with her husband Jason and two stepsons.
