I am honored and feel blessed to have been entrusted with the opportunity to provide dental care to my patients. Relieving pain, restoring the dentition to its optimal health, and helping my patients regain their beautiful and radiant smile is a unique privilege that I would not want to trade for anything else. Health and providing healthcare has always been an important part of my life. My father and grandfather were physicians and provided care to their patients from the heart. They are a great inspiration to me. I believe that a healthy dental environment contributes to the overall health of an individual. I take joy in serving my patients' oral health needs and creating healthy beautiful smiles. I look forward to continuing my family's tradition of serving people through the field of healthcare. I graduated from the prestigious Government Dental College in Bangalore, India, in 2001, and continued on to earn my Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the Goldman School of Dental Medicineat Boston University in 2006. I believe that learning is a lifelong process. In order to provide the best available care to my patients, it is imperative to keep on par with the research and development in the field of dentistry. There is constant innovation in the field of dentistry—newer materials, better technology, and new and improved methods of practicing dentistry that I want to be aware of, so that I can offer the highest level of care possible for my patients. I participate in a local study club, attend dental conferences and take continuing education courses. My recent focus has been on implant dentistry and TMJ therapy. Northern Virginia has been my home for the past ten years. I live here with my husband and our three-year-old daughter. Spending time with my family when I'm not in the office is the highlight of my day. I also enjoy cooking, hiking, and adventure sports. Giving back to the community is a big part of my life. I volunteer at the Northern Virginia Dental Clinic and have made contributions to the Junior League of Northern Virginia in 2014, which is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of children in our community. Our practice co-sponsors oral health goody bags to ``Good Sports of Arlington`` Halloween candy drive every year.
